These days it seems like the days of blogging are over. A majority of the latest generation of homo sapiens don’t seem to be too interested in reading long lines of “boring” text. Their ADHD mind is always looking for the bottomline, which is ironically best placed at the beginning: TLDR which translates to (for the benefit of those older confused home sapiens who might not be as well acquainted with the lingo of the latest batch of homo sapien adults) “Too Long Didn’t Read.” Ouch!
But my millenial self loves to express myself through words, and not as much through a “GRWM” 60 second video on YouTube or Instagram, if you know what I mean. For the uninitiated “GRWM” means “Get Ready With Me” where a latest generation kid gets ready and shows off their outfit to their “followers.” Yeah, no, I can’t do that. You won’t ever see me try a “GRWM” frivolity. But then again, if no one reads my blog here then I’ll just have to go on YouTube and try a “GRWM” frivolity. Sigh, such are times. A girl’s got to eat, and grow a garden on the side.
Speaking of gardens, I just launched my new collection ‘Hydrangea Garden.’ No, I do not have the good fortune yet to walk through an actual hydrangea garden, so I only dream, as of now. Some day, I may have my very own garden, and my own real hydrangeas to look at. Until then I design and dream!
